Why we're building Oathdesk
· By Kaleb Davenport
We started Oathdesk because a paralegal we love kept staying past nine on Thursdays to finish demand letters. The records were on her desk. The case file was on her screen. The template was in her muscle memory. None of those three lived in the same software, and the cost of stitching them together was a person’s evening.
This is the first of a short series of notes about what we’re building, what we’re choosing not to build, and the firms we’re building it with.
What this journal is
- Build notes. Things we shipped, things we tried and pulled.
- Working with firms. What customers have shown us about how a plaintiff practice actually runs.
- Field reports. Conferences, depositions watched, briefs read.
It isn’t a content marketing operation. There won’t be a post a week.
If you’d rather see the product than read about it, the demo page is a faster path.
